Sunday May 5th - 9:40am
Kutná Hora
FREE

Kutná Hora used to be one of the most important Czech royal towns in the Middle Ages, and it still boasts many historical landmarks and beautiful architecture. As this town once provided about a third of all the silver production in Europe, we'll take a close look at the 14th-century silver mine with a guided tour in English. We'll visit both UNESCO World Heritage Site cathedrals, Sedlec and St. Barbara's Cathedral, as well as the bizarre Sedlec Ossuary – an underground chapel decorated with skeletal remains of around 50 thousand people. Additionally, we'll make a stop for a traditional Czech lunch in the middle of the day.
